The Child, Youth, & School Services Sports and Fitness Programs are for children ages 5 through 18. Child participating in the program must either be a family member of active duty military personnel, retired military personnel, or a DOD civilian in Hawaii. Programs offered are continuously changing and improving to meet the needs of today’s youth. Our communities, youth, and parents have an active voice in planning developing and implementing innovative age appropriate programs.

Youth Sports Baseball Opening Day: Youth Sports is hosting their annual baseball opening day on April 25 at 9:00 a.m. at Watts Field located off of A-Road on Schofield Barracks. We will have Rusty McNamara as a guest speaker. Once opening day concludes our baseball games will start.
AMR Fitness Center Pool Home School Swim Lessons
Registration-1 April-17 April-No exceptions after registration closes
Lessons-21 April-May 12
Cost- $30 for 4 Lessons, at 30 min each
Level 1 Swim Lessons are from 1100-1130. Level 2 Swim Lessons are 1130-1200. Level 3 swim lessons are 1200-1230. If you were unable to attend the swim assessment, on April 21st you must show up at the pool 15 minutes prior to level 1 starting so your youth’s swim level can be evaluated.
Youth Sports Track & Field: Season is underway. Practices begin the 1st week in April. Practices for AMR/FS are Mon, Tues & Thurs 5:00-6:30pm at
Tripler’s Track. SB Mon at Tripler Track 5:00-6:30p.m. At Stoneman Field on Wed & Friday 5:00-6:30pm. Track meets are held every Saturday starting in
May at Stoneman Field. Call AMR/FS on 836-1923 or SB on 655-6465 with any

Youth Sports Wrestling: Season is underway. Practices started April 2. Practices will be held Wed from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m and Fri 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at AMR Small Gym. Schofield Barracks Bennett Gym on Tues & Thurs from 5:00p.m.-7:00pm. If wrestlers would like to practice more than twice a week they can attend both AMR and SB practices. Wrestling season will run April until June. If you have any further questions please call AMR/FS at 836-1923 or SB 655-6465.

Youth Sports Mini Flag Football
For youth born in the years 2010-2011.
Registration is June 1-June 30.
The season runs from July 23-Sep 10.
This is a parent and youth participation program. This program meets once a week.
Thurs from 5:00p.m.-6:00p.m. Cost is $20.
Youth and parent receive a t-shirt. Youth receive a football. Come out and love to learn a new sport.
Youth Sports Track & Field Opening Day-Youth Sports is hosting their annual track and field opening day on May 9 at 9:00a.m at Stoneman Stadium; located off of Leilehua Ave on Schofield Barracks. We will have Andrea Hinkle as a guest speaker. Once opening day concludes the track meet will begin.
PT in the gym: Youth Sports for the Month of the Military Child will be hosting their annual PT in the Gym. PT in the gym will be held at Ft. Shafter Physical Fitness Center at 665 Chamberlin Rd. on April 28. Please check in at the sign up table to register your kid at 6:15 am. So they can receive their free t-shirt for participating. From 6:30 a.m. -7:30 am. Participants will be doing Zumba. Once PT in the gym has concluded all participants will be receiving a free breakfast from 7:30 a.m.-8:30am... Special appearances will be made by Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Elmo, Elsa, Olaf, Dora the Explore and many more. Youth Sports welcomes all kids from the community, however the PT stations are age appropriated for kids 5-18 years of age.
Youth Sports Armed Forces Run - May 16 is Armed Forces Day. In celebration of our Armed Forces, Youth Sports is hosting their first Armed Forces Day Run. Armed Forces Day Run will be hosted at Stoneman Stadium located off of Leilehua Ave on Schofield Barracks. Prior to attending this event please registers at
http://www.americaskidsrun.org/events_app.php?location=118. From 8:00a.m.-8:45 a.m. please check-in at the sign-in table. The first 300 registered participants to sign-in will receive a free t-shirt. Armed Forces Kids run will have a ½ mile run for youth aged 5- 6 starting at 9:00a.m. 1 mile run for youth aged 7-8 starting at 9:30a.m. 2 mile run for youth aged 9-13 years old starting at 10:00a.m. Youth Sports highly encourages parents and youth to run the events together. While the events are taking place, there will be various activities (mini golf, potato sack races, ring toss, and many more) until 11:30p.m. This event is Free to the community. Please ensure to bring chairs or picnic blankets for seating.
Youth Sports Mini Olympic Day-on June 23 at 9:30a.m Youth Sports will be hosting our Mini Olympic Day at AMR Baseball Fields and Schofield Barracks Bennett Youth Center. Youth Sports will host various activities such as: indoor basketball, outdoor obstacle course, relay races, egg and spoon races, discus throwing using Frisbees, badminton and volleyball. Youth will be awarded with medals and the winning center will receive a trophy.
