CYSS Youth Sports

The Child, Youth, & School Services Sports and Fitness Programs are for children ages 5 through 18. Child participating in the program must either be a family member of active duty military personnel, retired military personnel, or a DOD civilian in Hawaii. Programs offered are continuously changing and improving to meet the needs of today’s youth. Our communities, youth, and parents have an active voice in planning developing and implementing innovative age appropriate programs.

Kick-Butts Day
March 18, 2015

NEX inside Lobby
Kick Butts day is a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up, and seize control against Big Tobacco. Kick Butts Day:-Raises awareness of tobacco use in their state or community-Encourages youth to reject the tobacco industry’s deceptive marking and stay tobacco-free-Urge elected officials to take action to protect kids from tobacco.

Track and Field
Youth born in the years 1997-2007 are eligible
Cost $55 per person
Practices will be held at each respective registrants site
Track Meets will be held at Stoneman Field on Schofield Barracks and local track meets
Practice begins 1st week in April
Schofield Barracks- Wednesday & Friday 1700-1830
AMR Tuesday & Thursday- 1700-1830
Season: May-July 2015-Every Saturday

Youth Born 1999-2010
Cost $55
Practices will be held at reach respective registrants site
Soccer games will be held at: Watts Field for Schofield Barracks, and AMR Fields
Season: July 25-September 19

Mini Soccer
Youth Born in the years 2010-2011
Cost is $20 (includes t-shirt and ball)
Practices and games will be held at the Bennett Youth Center field for Schofield, HMR, and Wheeler. AMR Fields for AMR and Ft. Shafter
Program runs April 23-Jun 11 Every Thursday 1700-1800

Home School P.E. Classes
**Cost is Free*
Youth Sports provides a setting where home school youth can enjoy playing various sports and learning about healthier nutrition options.  Each program is age appropriate and comes from approved curriculum: BGCA, 4-H, President’s Challenge, and NAYS. Come out and make new friends!

Hours: AMR and Schofield Barracks Youth Sports Offices are closed every Monday.
