CYSS Youth Sports

Make a difference… Become a Youth Sports Coach!
The Child, Youth, & School Services Sports and Fitness Programs are for children ages 5 through 18. Child participating in the program must either be a family member of active duty military personnel, retired military personnel, or a DOD civilian in Hawaii. Programs offered are continuously changing and improving to meet the needs of today’s youth. Our communities, youth, and parents have an active voice in planning developing and implementing innovative age appropriate programs.

Current Programs and Activities

Mini Flag Football Registration Jun 17, 2014- Jul 8, 2014
Youth Born in the years 2009-2010
Cost $20 (includes child and parent T-shirt and a sports ball) 
Program will be conducted at Bennett Youth Center Field for Schofield and AMR Field for AMR

Program: Jul 24- Sep 11, 2014
Mini Sports meet once a week on Thursdays 5:00-6:00 pm and is a parent child participation program.  Youth learn and practice basic skills of the sport.

 

Youth Flag Football and Cheerleading Registration Jul 1- Jul 31, 2014
Youth Born in the years 1998 - 2009 are eligible
Cost $55 per person $20 if you already have a cheer uniform.

Practices and games will be held at Watts Field for Schofield, HMR, and Wheeler and AMR Field for AMR and Ft. Shafter. 

Practices begin Sep 30, 2014.
Season: Oct 25-Dec 20, 2014

Home School P.E. Class 
*Cost is free* 
Youth Sports is currently conducting P.E. Classes for our military home school families. To register contact your nearest sports office and leave the following information; 

  • Youths name 
  • Age/Grade 
  • Home/Cell Number 
  • Family e-mail address

We understand that our home school classes on different bases operate on different schedules. If you are interested in participating contact your nearest sports office to find out when the next session will be starting.
